Your flesh will always try to be louder than our Heavenly Father. That’s why, sometimes, when we’re not focused enough, it becomes the only voice we hear — and we lean into it. Your flesh wants the temporary pleasures the world has to offer because it’s not coming with you into Heaven for eternal life. So it says, “Might as well, right?” NO. Do not believe it! Instead, bow down on your knees and pray for clarity, discernment, strength, protection, self-control, and patience. You will spare yourself days, weeks, months, even years of warfare by seeking God’s wisdom instead of leaning on your flesh’s opinion.
