A bible in which I cried so many tears, prayed all of my worries, God showed me what it truly means to flee from the things that once held me captive and run toward righteousness, faith, love, and peace alongside those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. [2 Tim 2:22]. And the more our friendship grew, the more I was fleeing away from my worldly and youthful desires. She did nothing but share her love for our Heavenly Father, and by her faith, and only her faith, she inspired me to change from the inside out.
That’s what 2:22 is about.
How it All started
At the lowest point in my life, when I was blindly living for my flesh, God saw me. He reached for me. Not with thunders or miracles, but through a friend. There was something about her, something deeper than her kindness, her warmth, or her beauty. It was Jesus. She never forced her faith on me; she just lived it. She spoke about Jesus like He was her best friend, and at some point, I started looking forward to hearing more.
Then one day, she handed me a Bible.
C'est la fraternité entre nous. Ta relation avec notre Père appartient à toi et à notre Père, mais ta marche avec Lui, on la vit tous ensemble. La collection The Found Keychains sont bien plus que de simples accessoires. La Bible dans laquelle j’ai versé tellement de larmes, prié toutes mes inquiétudes, Dieu m’a montré ce que ça veut vraiment dire de fuir les choses qui me tenaient autrefois captive et de courir vers la droiture, la foi, l’amour et la paix avec ceux qui invoquent le Seigneur d’un cœur pur [2 tim 2:22]. Et plus notre amitié grandissait, plus je m’éloignais de mes désirs mondains de jeunesse Elle n’a fait que partager son amour pour notre Père céleste, et par sa foi, et seulement sa foi, elle m’a inspirée à changer de l’intérieur.
C’est ça, l’essence de 2:22.
